Peer Review Policy

JPS operates a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published research.

  2. Assignment: Paper is assigned to 2-3 expert reviewers
  3. Peer Review: Reviewers evaluate methodology and significance (2-4 weeks)

Academic Integrity

Plagiarism Policy

JPS takes plagiarism very seriously. All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software before being sent to reviewers.

Plagiarism Threshold:

  • Acceptable: Less than 15% similarity (excluding references)
  • Borderline: 15-25% similarity - may require revision
  • Unacceptable: More than 25% similarity - automatic rejection

• Immediate rejection of manuscript
• Ban on future submissions from authors
• Notification to author's institution
